organizing a warehouse for safety

Do you have all of the organizational equipment that you need to keep your storage areas organized and safe? If not, now is the time to begin looking into the industrial shelving that is manufactured for businesses just like yours. It was not until I lost a lot of product due to a stack of pallets falling over that I knew just how important it was to have shelving to stack the pallets of goods on. Sure, I was able to file a claim and retrieve some of the lost money, but it had a severely negative impact on my business. Learn more about how I reorganized my warehouse and improved the situation for my business, my employees and my customers.

Buying A Truck Service Body For Your Truck

Sam Gomez

If you use your truck for work and need to take many tools along with you, looking for truck service bodies for sale that will fit your truck can make the truck much more flexible. Truck service bodies come in many different sizes, configurations, and materials, so finding the right one for your needs can take some time.

Selecting a Style

The design of the truck service bodies that you are considering may be different from one manufacturer to another. The most significant difference is often the layout of the compartments built into the truck body, and the sizes can be very different.

There are truck service bodies that have a large open bed on them and others that offer a closed-in bed with additional shelves and storage boxes inside that allow you to store smaller items as well as providing a secure area for tools or equipment that do not fit in the boxes on the service body.

Other options include custom truck service bodies that can be made to fit your needs. These bodies are typically more expensive, but if you have a specific need that you cannot find in any other truck service bodies for sale in your area, it might be worth the additional cost.

Custom truck bodies also allow you to add things that may not be offered on standard bodies, like special compartments for an air compressor or welder, and even add some outlets can be added to the outside of the body to allow you to plug a power cord or air hose into the fitting or outlet without having to take the equipment out of the truck body.

Construction Material

When you start looking at truck service bodies for sale, you will find bodies that are made from steel, aluminum, and even fiberglass. Deciding what material is best for you is often a personal choice, but there are some advantages to some of the materials.

Steel truck bodies are strong and can handle a lot of weight, but the body also weighs more than aluminum or fiberglass. If your truck can take the weight, a steel body is very durable and might be the best fit for your business needs.

Fiberglass and aluminum bodies are lightweight and still strong but may not be as durable as steel. The benefit of both materials is that they are corrosion resistant. This can be important if your business is near the ocean or in an area where a lot of road salt is used in the wintertime.
